Recreational Gymnastics (Badge Classes)

Service Description

Our Badge Classes include a 35 minute class with programmes carefully designed each week to offer a variety and give stimulus to your child's physical and social development. Sessions are structured and fun. Our coaches follow the well established B.A.G.A proficiency awards scheme which allows each child to develop and progress at their own pace and works them towards a certificate each term. Badge Classes offers creative play with rhythmic gymnastic props including ball and hoop. Children will develop their spatial awareness, balance and co-ordination skills through movement to music. Rhythm, dance and storytelling aid the development of communication skills, emotional expression and help children to grow in confidence all whilst making new friends! This class is suitable for ages 6 and up! The lesson is then followed by a 5 minute ''Weekend Wake Up Yoga''. It is a mix of vinyasa based flows and slower stretching ending with relaxation to leave your your child feeling energized; and Gymnastic Playground this is an open session which is for your child to practice gymnastic skills learned in class. They will have access to the gymnastic equipment such as parallettes, mats and vault and Camella will be on hand for assistance where needed.
